The Songs and Poems of the Minstrel Redberry
(more to come)

Time is Time
(click for MP3)

chorus
Time is time
unless it's not
it slows it speeds
don't let it stop

Telaris broke the flower
to release his power
stepping through the portal
to battle the immortal

And outside shadows burned
while hordes of flame returned
Logenn kept us whole
while Lori read the scroll

The Time Lords fought and struck
by strength and will and luck
one Time Lord felled the other
the one he calling his brother

Telaris passed the test
and laid his friend to rest
the future, now, and past
set right again at last

last chorus
Time is time
unless its not
it slows it speeds
don't let it stop
We live, we die
some do grow old
the tale of time
is ever told

The Crown of Therendry
(click for MP3)

Worn by a man
Who leads many men
a crown can seem heavy
But in the end its

Wanted by many
Feared by some
Hunted by plenty
Owned by none

chorus:
The Crown
it is the Crown
the Crown
it is the Crown
the Crown of Therendry

Tell me its secret
Show me its power
Many will weep
Before the hour

Gateway to madness
a test of will
Bringer of sadness
and hope as well

The Mystic That Lost her Clothes
(click for MP3)

There was a young Mystic
So suave and so fair
And she shone with her sweetness
Bright eyes and soft hair

Her beauty seemed endless
Long legs and pert ... nose
But she had one small problem
Kept losing her clothes

Chorus:
For a Mystic's fantastic
For a fling or a kiss
And a Mystic's gymnastic
For her dress she won't miss
When the garments start falling
Like leaves from a tree
Well the best you can do lad
Is join her or flee!

There was a young Gypsy
with bangles and rings
And she talked with the mystic
Who taught her some things

Now her clothes they start falling
And the drop of a hat
And the Mystics all cried
"Now I'd fancy that!"

Eight Fools in a Hole
(poem)

Eight fools in a hole
and we all jumped down
and we found ourselves
standing underground

Eight fools in a hole
with the candles lit
but the password asked;
we did not have it!

Eight fools in a hole
and we felt their steel
so we all did fall
while the casters healed

Eight fools in a hole
and the monster came
after we did douse
all the candle flames

Eight fools in a hole
and the treasure won
so we climbed back up
toward sky and sun

Two fools in a hole
for they jumped back in
and to rescue them
two more fools their kin

Four fools in a hole
Dalgaron crossed the line
and the gargoyles came
yet another time

No fools in a hole
pulled them up with a string
so we left that hole
and the fools learned nothing
